From the gravestone of Reverend Mr. Silas Bigelow, who left this earth November 16, 1769, aged 31 years. He served as Minister of the First Congregational Church, located in Paxton, Massachusetts and is buried in the graveyard next to the church. This small winged soul is perched atop a classical style column, right where the architectural capital should be. Very fitting, as the Minister is the pillar of the church! 6×4″
