A 19th century Spiritualist term for a paradise-like after-death state, Summer Land was a place of spirits of good will, pleasant surroundings, art & entertainment. Lucinda Holman (wife of I.D Bliss) left for there July 7, 1867 at the age of 27. Her mortal remains and gravestone are in Robing Hill Cemetery, Marlborough, Massachusetts.
