This “Hex Star” was meant as a protector to deflect spells & the Evil Eye. A pair of these stars rests in the corners of Anna Bemis’ gravestone, who died September 15, 1843 at the age of 89 & rests in the Old Burial Ground, Southborough, Massachusetts.5”
